Joe the Plumber Only, How About Alex the Bookseller Plumbing might be the in thing for Senator John McCain but for Alex the Bookseller, Senator Change Obama is still the man. When we saw this economic crisis coming, no one was there to bail us out? No one was starving except us when we were writing about the great 2008 economic depression on the book, "How do u integrate success in a small business" with ISBN no. 978-14348-07595. Can you believe what politics does to the world in seconds?

Value driven businesses towards E-Fairness

As a small business owner, my mantra is doing whatever I need, swim, sink, rise, fall and prevail. Running a business enterprise for me is running a societal network. It's like bringing a child, nurturing it and then letting it go and flourish/multiply. Many of us sometimes forget that in order to be prepared we must walk the talk. Hence, this is why I have preferred to be small so that I have control on walking and talking. Giving away all your hard earned years of profit might be the same for a lot of business owners. But if we think deeply on how we can give back to the community to sustain our values and being fair is a major step. Failing to write legislators, expressing our selves with the fear of what people will say and think is a common reality in the small business community. But for me, failure to equitably enforce existing sales tax laws handicaps state retailers who play by the rules and threatens to raise local taxes, as potential sales tax revenue is uncollected - mo

Collecting Books as Hobby and Business

On a Young Entrepreneur speaking engagement I spoke, on an open forum preceeded by being asked if I used a Book Scanner. Nowadays, book scanning is the high tech ingredient where you use your smart phone or blackberry integrated with a scanner. You scan the back of the book's UPC, Bar Code or ISBN no. My answer is that I do have the capability as it is a real cool dundy tool must have. However, on another side, I come from the old school of being a book reader, collector, dealer and then seller. A book for me is a tool and guide for information and learning. I started reading Hardy Boys and Marvel Comics by DC when I was five. Then I also did speed reading and took pilot (beta test) schooling at that time which is commonly known as home study. As an army brat, I had to go into different schools and start over, thank GOD for being a accelerated student then. The different kinds and variations of books is not only interesting but

Business Competition does not bother Google on Microsoft/Yahoo Alliance

Image
True indeed, Google is a winner because it can compete. I salute the efforts of Google for offering their help in case the Yahoo and Microsoft alliance pushes. In my sales mentoring speeches I have use Google so many, many times because these just guys achieve through competition. One of the origianal beliefs of the google founders is towards Globalization. If you look at the scenario, the software and licensing bundles together with the MSN and Yahoo groups will more improve and perhaps really come up with new discoveries. Hence, the Internet product development will basically create more things that are beneficial. Ebay, Overtock and Amazon are now intertwined though the 3rd party selllers. In the end, where will the 3rd party selllers use. Google, Yahooo/Microsoft? www.booksandthings.ws

The New Trend is "Book's Rental" Business

Image
There is a new business in town from the University Press Core Paparazzi. http://www.chegg.com/ While browsing online, I saw how the new trend is just to rent books. I think it's a great idea especially if you are a broke university student nowadays. This is not a paid advertising but for me to endorse it side by side with my own blogs, http://www.alex-esguerra.com/ only means I am sold on the idea. Good luck, university paparazzi's. http://www.bestcarparkingapp.com/2015/12/independent-contractor-brand.html http://ww.affordablebooksonline.com https://adleinternational.wordpress.com
